Latest development in
MORSO
knife sharpening comes to Scotland.
Cathandon are please to
announce the introduction of a new knife sharpening service for its
customers.
The machine is an automatic knife grinder, designed and built by
MORSO
(Danlist) in Denmark specifically for
the picture framing industry and is the first machine of its kind to
be introduce into the UK.
The machine sharpens blades to
30 degrees, known as hollow ground and is recommended by
MORSO who
supply the industry with guillotine mitres.
Gordon Cunningham GCF and owner
of Cathandon was frustrated by the knife sharpening options
available for picture framers in Scotland and the resulting effects.
Gordon said
" I wanted to improve the
blade sharpening services available for picture framers and from
discussions found that no-one was willing to offer the services we
need, so I decided it was time to take action"
"The new machine was installed
on 11th June and all our staff have been fully trained by
MORSO to ensure that we can give fellow picture framers a superior
service" |
